The US is getting closer to exporting crude oil for the first time in more than 40 years

The U.S. government just took the largest step yet to erode the ban on crude oil exports.
The Department of Commerce official told Reuters that the federal government is “acting favorably on a number of applications” that are seeking an oil swap with Mexico. In other words, the Obama administration plans on greenlighting the limited export of light oil to Mexico, and in exchange the U.S. will import heavier Mexican oil.

Apple's next iPhone is going to look a lot like the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, if a new leak turns out to be true.
French blog Nowhereelse.fr posted a batch of photos that it claims came from Apple's iPhone assembly line.
The photos don't tell us too much about the phone, but one image reportedly shows what the front of Apple's next iPhone could look like. It looks identical to that of the iPhone 6 Plus, as shown below.

This one map explains the entire worldwide economy
A new map by the folks at HowMuch.net provides a fascinating perspective on the worldwide economy.
The map represents each country relative to the size of its nominal gross domestic product, the type of GDP that is not adjusted for inflation. The larger the area, the larger the size of the economy.
Each area is divided into three sectors — services, industrial, and agricultural — to visualize which industries contribute most to the country's GDP.
US trip: Buhari rejects gay marriage, says Presidency
The Presidency on Wednesday admitted that the issue of gay marriage came up during President Muhammadu Buhari’s four-day official visit to the United States.
It said the President, however, rejected the idea “point-blank.”
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, disclosed this on his Twitter handle on Wednesday.
