If you don’t want to go crazy while having an insane amount of money, it’s best to donate some of it to charity.
At least that’s what Prince Alwaleed Talal is doing with his $32 billion fortune! That’s all of his money! He’s donating ALL of his money to disaster relief funds, and women’s right’s groups.
Although some people say it is a political strategy to get the United Nations on his and most especially the United States,some said he is SCARED and do not want to end up like Gaddafi,but to my own opinion i think is naturally generous and kind.
Alwaleed seems like a really nice guy making all these donations. There's no question that he's a very generous man, known to give extravagant gifts.
That doesn't stop him from being flashy with his money as well. He tried to boycott Forbes magazine for underestimating how rich he is. Forbes listed him as the, 26th Richest Person In The World. That was too low on the list for him apparently.
Being charitable with his fortune definitely shows that he isn’t entirely attached to the idea of money, a very respectable action on his part.
He’s also considered very westernized and progressive when it comes to modern issues. Most of his personal staff are women.
Alwaleed has said that he has been inspired by the Gates Foundation, created by Bill Gates and his wife Melinda Gates.
Bill Gates recently showed much respect to the prince for his decision. Gates called it an, “inspiration to all of us working in philanthropy around the world”.
It must be a great feeling to provide so much help to groups who really need it. Doesn't this get you in the mood to help someone with a need? Get out there and sponsor a child, or at least give a homeless man a bagel.
